Tory Burch, Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera Oh My! There’s no place like home at Target during this holiday season!

December 1st started the launch of the Neiman Marcus brand exclusively at Target. This unusual partnership is supposed to be a one time deal but rumor has it that there will be more collections coming soon.

When you walk into your local Target be ready to be mesmerized by the unique items, hand picked by the designers themselves. Choose from 60, fun and quirky items on the Target shelves. These items will be displayed the moment you walk into the stores; so you can’t miss it! Don’t miss out because the items are for a limited time only.

Have fun Target shopping ladies!

It’s finally starting to get cool enough to pull out all of my oversized knit sweaters….which is pure paradise!

Most people look forward to this time of year because of the holidays…but I look forward to this time of year because of my knits! You can find these knits at almost any retailer (Macy’s, Dillards, Nordstrom) some knits are even on their sale racks as we speak; so treat yourself to a comfortable statement piece.

I also love to accessorize my oversized knits and skinny jeans with vintage diamonds! I feel that vintage pieces encompass a classical yet contemporary allure to the entire outfit and sets it a part.

I find a lot of my vintage collections at Brass Armadillo http://brassarmadillo.com/phoenix, which is a antique mall in Phoenix, with over 600 antique dealers. My most recent purchase was from Alice Cooper; he has a fun booth with various types of jewelry and home decor.

So I hope I have inspired all of you to go out and buy a comfortable statement piece that makes you look and feel amazing!

Some nights when I go out I want to look cute but feel comfy at the same time and the outfit shown above is just the outfit for that!

My lace like jeggings, which are a combination of leggings and skinny jeans, are from The Limited and are super comfortable and very soft. When I put them on I felt as if I was putting on pajama pants. The jeggings also came in various colors and prints, check out their website to find a print and color just for you! http://www.thelimited.com/womens-clothing/jeans-denim,default,sc.html?navid=left

My gemmed out skull graphic tee was from Wet Seal (which is one of my favorite stores for an inexpensive fun look). Wet Seal has tees galore in every color and style all under $30. http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/thumbnail.jsp?categoryId=101&subCategoryId=215

To tie the entire outfit together, I paired my black motorcycle jacket from Express. (I bought it last year so they might not have the exact style but I guarantee you can find one similar ). I love fitted motorcycle jackets because they are a great layering piece, that can complete so many different looks in your closet. http://www.express.com/jackets-vests-32/control/show/12/index.cat

Every morning when I wake up, I wash my face and put on moisturizer, which I thought was the right thing to do and then I put my make-up on and by noon it looked like I didn’t have anything on my face.

So I decided to go to the MAC counter at Scottsdale Fashion Square to figure out what was going on and low and behold I found out that I needed a prep+primer before I applied my make-up. Some of you reading this might think that I am a dork and I should have known this already but I didn’t 🙂 So I went home very excited to try my new purchase and I did a little experiment. I put my moisturizer on, my new primer and then make-up and 6 hours later, after I did a short work-out, put together some outfits for my blog and made dinner….drum roll please……………my make-up still looked freshly applied and untouched!!!!

I highly recommend going out and buying the MAC Prep+Prime and when you do purchase this magnificent item let me know what you think!

I’ve always loved the look of faux fur because it truly looks like the real deal…but you don’t have to wear the guilt. This past weekend I went to Tempe Market Place to do some early Christmas shopping and in the Wet Seal window display there it was….the fur vest of my dreams!

What I like about this vest (shown above in the left corner) is that you can dress it down with leggings and flat combat boots or dress it up with rolled up jeans and stilettos. One of my friends that is newly pregnant asked me to post some outfits for pregnant women so here you go Ashley, I hope you like it!

You can find faux fur almost anywhere. Lately I have found the vest at the store sites listed below:

www.bcbg.com

www.forever21.com

www.express.com

I also think this is a great look for the holiday season because in Arizona we can’t wear fur jackets because it’s too darn hot!

Fur on! <3

Nothing is better than going to your closet and putting on some comfy skinny jeans, a boho top (so you don’t have to suck in) and a perfect accessory that ties the whole outfit together!

The outfit shown above is just the outfit! I love the mustard color…but you have to be careful when deciding if this color is for you. This color looks great on olive and dark skin tones but may wash out with a lighter complexion. So, if that is the case I would stay with colors that compliment your tone, like coral and green during the Fall season.

I paired this top with a chunky gold necklace, that is very detailed with various textures and different chain designs throughout the necklace. This piece is great because you can wear it with a plain white cami and jeans or a button up top, tucked into a high waisted pencil skirt, to give it a completely different look.

This top is availible at www.divazboutique.com

The necklace is available at www.facebook.com/royalbowtique

This past weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to the Wings To Fly Fashion Show/ Tea Party at the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix, where one of my clients Yetta Gibson (News Anchor at 3TV) was the emcee. This event was full of fashion, strong independent women and some darn good tea!

Wings to Fly organized this event to fundraise for their national nonprofit camp that is dedicated to promoting lifelong self-esteem in young women. Wings to fly focuses on the 4 building blocks during their 1 week camp:

1. Emotional
2. Physical
3. Spiritual
4. Financial

This camp is located at Chauncey Ranch, which is located on the Agua Fria River surrounded by cottonwood trees, willows,, swimming pools, horseback riding and a two-acre lake for canoeing and fishing. Their next camp starts June 8th- June 15th.

If you would like more information you can visit their website at www.wingstofly.info.

This weekend I went to the, “Junk in the Trunk,” vintage market for the first time at Westworld in Scottsdale and had a blast! Right when I walked in I saw a sea of booths that were filled with so many different items. There were so many fun finds, anywhere from vintage chairs to vintage jewelry and coats. The market also had a very fun feel with John Mayer and live acoustic guitarists playing while my mom and I were shopping and enjoying an amazing Saturday morning in 64 degree weather.

Towards the end of the show, I came across this amazing booth called, “Unravel Me,” and as you can see from the pictures above….. Theresa’s items are amazing. Theresa is the maker and designer of all of the, “Unravel Me products” and is very passionate about her creations. She took the time to explain to me, her favorites and the most popular creations sold at the show! My favorite piece from her booth is the cupcake bonnet and scarf that you can wear 3 ways<3

When I went to her website I found out that you can buy the patterns to all of her items shown in the picture above for a great price.

For more information on Unravel Me you can go to her website www.unravelme.etsy.com or call Theresa Grant at 623.330.4436

Bling and leather is the perfect way to start off your Friday night. I love the combination of the gold and black leather married together.

For some states this skirt shown above would be hard to wear due to the weather, but you can pair this outfit with some black tights or even some ombré tights that start off dark at the top (usually black) and then turn into a color at the bottom (deep purple or turquoise).

I would pair this outfit with black closed toe pumps and gold bangle bracelets, along with hoop earrings (preferably gold or black).
