The past couple of months have been filled with baby registries (having no idea what to register for), getting her room ready, picking out baby shower invites, baby shower decorations and planning and attending family and friend baby showers. It has been an amazing time doing all of this and sharing this experience with all of my loved ones. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system and I am forever grateful. My beautiful and amazing mom has played a key role in all of this because she is a, “party planner” at heart. As you can see from the pictures below she knows her stuff and thought of every key detail from the games to the watermelon baby and beautiful princess diaper cake 🙂

Happy Wednesday and Style on Ladies and Gents!

My weekend was full of eating out, shopping and spending time with my sister in law (who is in town from Oregon!). So what better way to share the weekend together than taking blog pictures after shopping! This look is a casual hipster look that can be worn on a casual day when you want to look cute but feel comfortable!

Style on ladies and gents!

This past weekend I was on a mission to find dark denim high-waist shorts…but of course when I am looking for something, I find and WANT everything else but what I am actually looking for. So while shopping I found this mirrored effect floral printed dress at Forever 21. This new print is on trend and will continue to be well into Fall. I am even starting to see this “mirrored effect,” in swimsuits too!

I love this cut and fit because I can wear it with a blazer for work and take off the blazer for happy hour or a date night. If you are an online shopper and want to purchase this dress make sure to buy a size larger than you would usually be because it runs a bit snug.

Style On Peeps!

Well, summer is officially here!!! It hit 100 degrees last week and today I am laying out by the pool and enjoying this beautiful Arizona weather while writing to all of you!

So in honor of the summer weather I wanted to show you a casual, fun summer look that can be worn on the weekend day drinking or at a bbq.

I love dressing up but sometimes it’s nice to be comfy and casual when it’s hot. But don’t forget to stay extremely colorful this summer because you will see lots of color out there in magazines, fashion blogs and watching House Wives of Orange County of course lol! 🙂

– Grey Skull Tee, Q Boutique at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall (they don’t have a website) $12
– Fuchsia Cuff Shorts, Target $24.50
– Multi-color Gladiator Sandals, Nordstrom Rack $39
– Mint and Gold Sunglasses, Charming Charlie $12
– Various Stack-able Bracelets, Divaz Boutique, my friend Genevieve made the gold and turq bracelet 🙂
– Gold Earrings, Forever 21 $6

Have an amazing Cinco De Mayo!

Style On!

Spring is now quickly turning into summer weather and I wanted to check out the stores to see if I could find any transition pieces for my wardrobe. I recently went on a mini shopping spree at Tempe Market Place this past weekend and I found a crisp, white peplum rayon top at Divaz Boutique. This top inspired me to do a blog post on Work to Weekend Wear Looks!

Style On Peeps!

I had to share this picture with all of you! I was meeting with a client the other day and just happened to look up and this is the beautiful visual I saw…so I had to get out my phone and take a picture 🙂

Spring is my favorite time of year…that’s why my past 5 posts have to do with Spring wear and gear! 🙂 As some of you may know; I am a bargain shopper and I will find deals in almost every store and if I don’t…I move on to the next store! Over the past couple of weeks I have got amazing deals on the items shown below!20130221-224540.jpg
This coral sweetheart cut cotton dress is from Forever 21. This light weight material is perfect for the Arizona weather! I would pair this dress with a cropped jean jacket for day wear and I would change it up at night with a black or turquoise boyfriend blazer. This was the last dress at Chandler Mall but I am sure you can find this dress in coral at the other Forever 21 locations. Price of dress $17.98

Can you guess where I got this Neon Black Purse???? Drum roll please……Forever 21! This purse was only $12; I saw a purse very similar to this one at BCBG at the Kierland location for $198. I like this style because it is very versatile for day wear as well as night and it is the perfect size because it can hold my lip gloss, iphone, camera, card holder and keys.

If you are short like me, you will fall in love with this cut because they fit like cigarette pants (pants that look like high waters…but in a good way). These beauties were found at another favorite store of mine Target! I love this color because it goes with just about anything: tan, coral, black, white, plum purple and the list can go on. These pants look amazing with nude stiletto heels. I paid $29.99 for these pants and I am thinking about going back and buying the black ones too <3

Just in case you missed it; my fashion segment on “Statement Pieces,” featuring Royal Bowtique’s products on Your Life A to Z, Saturday, February 23rd at 10am on 3TV.

My Outfit:
– Black Shimmer Sweater
– Gold Spike Necklace “ShopRoyalBowtique”
– Gold Ring and Spike Earrings

Some nights when I go out I want to look cute but feel comfy at the same time and the outfit shown above is just the outfit for that!

My lace like jeggings, which are a combination of leggings and skinny jeans, are from The Limited and are super comfortable and very soft. When I put them on I felt as if I was putting on pajama pants. The jeggings also came in various colors and prints, check out their website to find a print and color just for you!,default,sc.html?navid=left

My gemmed out skull graphic tee was from Wet Seal (which is one of my favorite stores for an inexpensive fun look). Wet Seal has tees galore in every color and style all under $30.

To tie the entire outfit together, I paired my black motorcycle jacket from Express. (I bought it last year so they might not have the exact style but I guarantee you can find one similar ). I love fitted motorcycle jackets because they are a great layering piece, that can complete so many different looks in your closet.
