Fashion week was in full effect and just about everyone from the fashion world was in the audience at Talking Stick Resort looking fierce, fabulous and dressed to the nine. I can’t believe it is already October 2014, feels like just yesterday I was writing the recap for fashion week last year. Below are my favorites from the three shows….2014 brought new and eclectic looks to the runway. My favorite designer from the entire week was a past “Designer of the Year,”Bri Seeley. Her designs are wearable for the every day woman that want to look fabulous from head to toe. I pretty much want everything from her new line.

If you know me, you know that I like to be comfortable on Sundays because those are the days that I like to run all of my errands (and not wear heels) because I typically wear heels or wedges Monday-Saturday. I don’t know what it is about heels that make me feel more “put-together,” don’t you think…..(it may just be me). My dress and booties are recently from one of my fav stores……TARGET! This cotton dress is comfortable and flowy and can transition from summer into fall with just a couple of pieces (ex. shoes, layering vest or jacket and a scarf). I also love the neckline of this dress because it makes it girly and more dressy, rather than just a boat-neckline.

Every now and then I like to drag my husband from behind the camera to the front. Today’s blog is all about men’s fashion on a budget. Mat’s entire outfit is under $100. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to be stylish and feel comfortable. Mat is a comfortable dresser; so that means he doesn’t like to layer but in this case I don’t think he has to because he is wearing a printed shirt as well as neutral tone bottoms that give this outfit the pop it needs without having to layer or add a lot of accessories (and men, I don’t mean jewelry…I mean accessories like: hats, vests, etc.)
I had to add these pictures below because I was hysterically laughing when I asked Mat to pose for the camera (this is what he gave me)…..man I love this guy 😉

Wow, I can’t believe that it’s already summer and I am talking about summer wear. This year has been flying by (I feel like spring lasted about a week). With that being said I have to wear outfits that are comfortable and perfect for this Arizona heat. For those of you that know me, you know that I own about 20 rompers in my closet because they are A.) easy to throw on because there are not any layering pieces besides jewelry and B.) because it is too hot to wear anything else but shorts in the summer. For those that do not feel comfortable with short rompers, Urban Outfitters also carries longer-length rompers, with a quarter sleeve <3 This romper can also transition to the fall by pairing with a boyfriend blazer and some combat boots.
This Block and Battaglia clutch is my “go to” lately because it is light weight, convenient and goes with just about everything in my closet and it is locally made here in Arizona (which makes me love it more). Check out Christine’s Etsy website.

Dress it up or dress it down…no matter what you choose to do you can always do it with a romper! I decided to dress it up for the evening for my girlfriends birthday party.
