This weekend was another fun filled fashion Saturday at Vintage by Misty! If you live in Arizona and haven’t been to her store yet…drop everything your doing and go and if you live outside of Arizona go to her Etsy site:) Most of my Saturday was spent looking through authentic and timeless pieces…I think I tried on everything in her store! Crop tops, bra tops, bandeau tops and the bralette top inspired me to put this look together! I truly never thought that I could pull off a crop top because I am only 5″1 and my torso is about 6 inches long but I think I did ok:) This is a fun look that I would wear out to dinner or a night out with the girls! Since I work in a office during the day I probably wouldn’t wear the crop top but would switch it out with a silk white button up.

It was the perfect temperature and weather for a rooftop fashion show in Phoenix. With over 250 guests supporting the Phoenix Children’s Hospital; everyone was dressed to impress including the amazing models.
I have never styled a fashion show on a rooftop before and now I don’t want to have it any other way because of how beautiful it was….but if you would ask me in the middle of July I would probably be perfectly fine with an indoor venue 🙂
I love this picture above because I am literally half the size of these beautiful bombshells I am styling <3. Backstage all of the models are wearing Shawl Dawls; I blogged about this designer back in January because I fell in love with their collection because there are so many ways to wear their shawls. Misty’s fun and unique location is in the heart of downtown Phoenix. If you are looking for a Louis Vuitton clutch to a sequin cap-sleeve jacket Vintage By Misty is your place! There you will also find Amir’s Va Loute!
I had the pleasure of working with him for MIM Rocks Fashion. His looks are very clean-cut and unique. I love his color pallets that he pairs with his prints and designs. What’s really cool about Amir is that he creates all of his designs in-house.
When I first started writing this blog post, I just wanted to talk about backstage but as you are reading…..it has turned into a lot more! I absolutely LOVE my job and LOVE what I do and LOVE who I worked with on this show and wanted to give everyone a little shout out! 🙂
JHaus Denim was really fun to style because I pretty much wanted every single item she designed; so it made it extremely easy to visualize what I wanted my outcome to be! JLynn (the designer) is amazing to work with and has such a kind heart! I was also lucky enough to be able to pull some fun tops from Clothes Minded Boutique! (Shown Below).
Last but not least I loved this look from Bounty Hunter! Who says only women can roll up their pants, guys are now doing it too! I also tell all of my male clients to always match your belt with your shoes and this is a perfect example! I loved the color of this belt and actually saw the belt first and paired the entire outfit around it 🙂
I also wanted to give a special “Shout Out” to Dillards Accessory Department because they supplied me with all of the accessories in the Green Street Realty Show!

I am so excited to be teaming up with Phoenix Fashion Week again on the Green Street Realty Charity Fashion Show this Thursday, April 18th at 7:30. I will be styling looks from Shawl Dawls, Bounty Hunter, JHaus Denim, Amir’s La Voute and Vintage By Misty.
What’s extremely exciting about the show is that 100% of the proceeds earned from the event and silent auctions will be donated to The Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This Spring into Summer show will focus on looks that will be on the runway; and then can be transitioned to your closet. You will see a lot of “ready to wear,” pieces from the designers and collections I listed above.
This weekend I started pulling looks from the show and saw myself steering towards a lot of stripes for men! Women have been wearing stripes all season and I love it. I recommend pairing stripes with a bright color. For example if you are wearing stripe leggings (black and white) I would pair them with a bright color top (like the picture shown below). She rocks this outfit and didn’t even have to accessorize that much! If you do not want to be that BOLD; you can pair a basic black dress with a stripe blazer.
I hope all of you can show support for Phoenix Children’s Hospital and come to the show this Thursday!
