I have been a personal stylist for close to 7 years now and I have never had an actual “brand/logo” for myself…until now…….drum roll please….
Picking a logo is not as easy as it sounds, it has to represent you! My LOVE is making other people happy so that’s why I chose a heart <3 Being a personal stylist is my passion and I am lucky enough to be able to do this everyday and make both men and women feel good about what they are wearing!
I hope all of you like the new look! <3
Happy Weekend

Last weekend was one of those nothing fits me, nothing feels cute kind of weekends so I busted out the tried and true t-shirt and jeans, my ‘go-to’ casual outfit.
Selling real estate means lots of driving, standing, walking, crouching (for lockboxes) and sometimes scaling a wall. (I’ve done that twice now) It means walking through dirt, gravel, being in homes with no AC and sometimes digging up pavers to reset them to pass an FHA home inspection (I’ve done that, luckily only once).
When I have those nothing fits me, nothing feels cute kind of days when I have to meet clients I have a few ‘go-to’ styles that always do the trick… and I apparently have a ‘go-to’ color too. Blue, who knew?
Left to right//
\\Button up and denim. I like my button ups loose and I typically tuck in the front to elongate my little shrimp legs. Jeans: Express Button up: H&M Shoes: Nine West
\\Fit & Flare. Anthropologie has this style down to a science, I can walk in grab any fit and flare in my size and I know it will always fit perfectly and ALWAYS makes me feel super cute, especially for my body type. Anything cinched at the waist and with a bit of flare makes me less concerned about my Sir Mix-a-Lot lovin’ backside. I’ve made a few Fit & Flare dresses myself, both fitted with a zipper or with an elastic waist, I’m working on perfecting it so I don’t go completely broke thanks to Anthro. Blue Dress: Anthropologie. Heels: Express
\\Black Peplum. Again, cinched and flared, peplum makes me feel girly and cute. I have a difficult time wearing pencil skirts, they always shift upwards as I walk and I have tried MANY sizes and styles…nothing seems to want to stay put. That’s what I love about this dress, I get to have the look of a pencil skirt without it riding up and the peplum flare grazes that bit of my bum that I feel needs to be hidden, at least when I’m with clients. Black Peplum dress: Anthropologie Black Heels: Aldo
\\Circle skirt and loose fitting top. Like the Fit and Flare dress, a circle skirt is something I can toss on and it instantly lifts my spirits, but you have to be careful because depending on the weather, a gust of wind can really lift your skirt! Blue Skirt: Target Top: Ann Taylor LOFT Shoes: Nine West
\\Button up and denim, take 2. This look I straight up stole from the Duchess of Cambridge. I saw her wearing a similar outfit a couple of years ago and I still wear this look all the time. Jeans: Express Button Up: Old Navy Shoes: Express

Everyone has their favorite pair of shoes, favorite blazer that they try to pair with everything in their closet and their favorite shade of lipstick that is perfect for the season! Below are my favorites at the moment!
My first fav is a new primer from Benefit called “Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer.” The difference between this primer and other primers out there, is that this primer is more like a balm. So you will first wash your face, moisturize, apply the primer balm and then apply your foundation or compact and POOF! You have a great 15 hour stay.
These glosses are oldies but goodies NYX! I love that they have a matte finish to them and the lip color lasts for about 6 hours without re-applying 🙂 Another plus is that these babies are only $6 a pop at Ulta! My favorite color at the moment is “Sydney,” it is a pale pink color that is perfect for summer!
Love this black fringe bag from H&M and for only $30 I get a lot of use out of it and it’s also big enough to hold my laptop! I don’t know what it is about fringe this summer but I am seeing it everywhere!
I love a statement piece that can be paired with various looks in my closet. The crystal color stone earrings from J.Crew go with just about everything. I would wear the earrings with almost every color (black, nude, brown, plum purple, turquoise, lime green and coral).
I love to wear maxi dresses! They are so comfortable and easy to wear in the summer time! This maxi is from Privity Boutique in Gilbert. I also like to pair this maxi with a light denim vest or jacket. Another fav at the moment is this gold head-piece. I bought mine at Forever 21 a few months ago and I just love it because I don’t have to accessorize too much because it’s a statement piece within itself 🙂 I always make sure to piece my hair down the middle and lay the t-shaped head piece down the middle of my head. I wear this look when I have straight hair because the head-piece seems to stay in place.
Last but not least is this black jumpsuit I bought at Bebe! It is simple, yet elegant. I recently wore this beauty to a cocktail party with one of my beautiful girlfriends! It was a very comfortable look that I paired with a bright necklace.

Nebraska, the origin of a dream nurtured in the midst of corn fields and cattle drives. Personalities of sisters and nieces transformed into style names for her clothing. The cattle brand became a logo for the JHaus Brand. Her designs represent strength and durability, the real American roots. That’s JHaus.
Jennifer Hausmann, owner and designer of JHaus Brand is an inspiration. We had met for coffee and that quick coffee chat turned into a great coffee date! 🙂 Jennifer’s passion is completely contagious and I had the pleasure of styling a fashion show she was featured in, back in March. Before styling I was in retail for over 11 years and have seen my fair share of denim (working at various clothing companies that specialize in denim) and I have never seen the quality and color that JHaus denim carries before. My favorites are the Rebecca Colored Skinny and the Emmie Skinny. When washing denim there is always a worry that the denim itself can lighten or look old after one wash but I have washed my colored denim a couple of times (inside out) and they still look brand new!
JHaus not only carries jeans but they carry tops, jackets and skirts too! The dress shown above has been down various catwalks around the U.S. This dress is actually made out of burlap and couldn’t look more elegant!
For my fun JHaus shoot I wanted to have a lot of color to reflect a summer vacation. Below are my two favorite pairs of denim paired with clothes out of my closet! Hope you enjoy!
Top: Guess By Marciano
Jeans: JHaus Brand
Shoes: Guess By Marciano (2 years old)
Earrings: Guess By Marciano (2 years old)
Top: Forever 21
Jeans: JHaus Brand
Necklace: Target
Earrings: Forever 21
Bracelet: Wet Seal
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack
This is a new wash JHaus is a wash they will be carrying online soon as well as in stores. If you are in Arizona and want to purchase her collection go to Clothes Minded in Phoenix or online at JHaus or Zappos.

Christine with Work My Wardrobe:
I typically like to sew an outfit about an hour to 30 minutes before I’m supposed to walk out the door to meet someone and it was no different when I made the first scarf into a little Kimono…the worst part was the fabric, it frayed pretty easily, but with the right fabric I’m sure this already easy to do project would be even easier. Case in point-The second Kaftan style cover up. Awesome fabric, so easy to work with…Both equally as cute!!
I picked up the scarf at a flea market in Los Angeles, the Kaftan type fabric was purchased by a vendor on the beach in Mexico. Both were screaming to be turned into cute cover-ups.
PS. I work pretty free form, half the time figuring it out as I go along…so hopefully this makes sense.
