Mirrored Effect Print….

This past weekend I was on a mission to find dark denim high-waist shorts…but of course when I am looking for something, I find and WANT everything else but what I am actually looking for. So while shopping I found this mirrored effect floral printed dress at Forever 21. This new print is on trend and will continue to be well into Fall. I am even starting to see this “mirrored effect,” in swimsuits too!

I love this cut and fit because I can wear it with a blazer for work and take off the blazer for happy hour or a date night. If you are an online shopper and want to purchase this dress make sure to buy a size larger than you would usually be because it runs a bit snug.

What I Love About The Holidays!

It’s finally starting to get cool enough to pull out all of my oversized knit sweaters….which is pure paradise!

Most people look forward to this time of year because of the holidays…but I look forward to this time of year because of my knits! You can find these knits at almost any retailer (Macy’s, Dillards, Nordstrom) some knits are even on their sale racks as we speak; so treat yourself to a comfortable statement piece.

I also love to accessorize my oversized knits and skinny jeans with vintage diamonds! I feel that vintage pieces encompass a classical yet contemporary allure to the entire outfit and sets it a part.

I find a lot of my vintage collections at Brass Armadillo http://brassarmadillo.com/phoenix, which is a antique mall in Phoenix, with over 600 antique dealers. My most recent purchase was from Alice Cooper; he has a fun booth with various types of jewelry and home decor.

Ombre Tights!

Fall is officially here…even though it does not feel like it outside in 84 degree weather; it’s time to pull out the tights! We I came across these beauties I had to share! I feel like every where I go I see ombre. Ombre hair, ombre tops, ombre nails and now ombre tights! I love them….I feel that they are even appropriate to wear in the office with a black pencil skirt with a basic tucked in top! I would probably wear the ombre tights with closed toe Mary Jane shoes or black Lauren Conrad stilettos ( Lauren Conrad stilettos are heels that have a platform underneath the toe!). These tights you can find at any department store (Dillards, Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc.)
