Sunday Florals

If you know me, you know that I like to be comfortable on Sundays because those are the days that I like to run all of my errands (and not wear heels) because I typically wear heels or wedges Monday-Saturday. I don’t know what it is about heels that make me feel more “put-together,” don’t you think…..(it may just be me). My dress and booties are recently from one of my fav stores……TARGET! This cotton dress is comfortable and flowy and can transition from summer into fall with just a couple of pieces (ex. shoes, layering vest or jacket and a scarf). I also love the neckline of this dress because it makes it girly and more dressy, rather than just a boat-neckline.

Ja’ire International Couture Shoot

Colorful, sexy, sleek and confident; those are the words that come to mind when I think of the Ja’ire International Couture and their amazing collection. They describe their brand as wearable art; stunning fashion for the person who wants to be seen, admired and desired. Each piece is innovatively designed promoting individualism, art, and fantasy. Favorites At The Moment…

Everyone has their favorite pair of shoes, favorite blazer that they try to pair with everything in their closet and their favorite shade of lipstick that is perfect for the season! Below are my favorites at the moment!

My first fav is a new primer from Benefit called “Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer.” The difference between this primer and other primers out there, is that this primer is more like a balm. So you will first wash your face, moisturize, apply the primer balm and then apply your foundation or compact and POOF! You have a great 15 hour stay.

These glosses are oldies but goodies NYX! I love that they have a matte finish to them and the lip color lasts for about 6 hours without re-applying 🙂 Another plus is that these babies are only $6 a pop at Ulta! My favorite color at the moment is “Sydney,” it is a pale pink color that is perfect for summer!

Love this black fringe bag from H&M and for only $30 I get a lot of use out of it and it’s also big enough to hold my laptop! I don’t know what it is about fringe this summer but I am seeing it everywhere!

I love a statement piece that can be paired with various looks in my closet. The crystal color stone earrings from J.Crew go with just about everything. I would wear the earrings with almost every color (black, nude, brown, plum purple, turquoise, lime green and coral).

I love to wear maxi dresses! They are so comfortable and easy to wear in the summer time! This maxi is from Privity Boutique in Gilbert. I also like to pair this maxi with a light denim vest or jacket. Another fav at the moment is this gold head-piece. I bought mine at Forever 21 a few months ago and I just love it because I don’t have to accessorize too much because it’s a statement piece within itself 🙂 I always make sure to piece my hair down the middle and lay the t-shaped head piece down the middle of my head. I wear this look when I have straight hair because the head-piece seems to stay in place.

Last but not least is this black jumpsuit I bought at Bebe! It is simple, yet elegant. I recently wore this beauty to a cocktail party with one of my beautiful girlfriends! It was a very comfortable look that I paired with a bright necklace.

Swimsuit Mania!

It officially hit 112 degrees yesterday in Arizona; so I thought today would be a great day to talk about swimsuit looks for the summer (since us Arizonan’s will either be inside in the air condition or in the pool).

Some of my clients ask me if they find a swimsuit they love…if they can wear it for seasons to come. I tell them that swimsuits are a lot like clothes; if it’s in season, “wear it” but if it’s not in season, “toss it.”

Let’s start with the mismatched bathing suit! This look is great for women with small torso’s that want to look like they have an elongated torso. The color combo is a great way to do that!

Black and sleek is the best way to describe this suit! I love the mesh on the shoulders and how it shows off her curves! This is like a little black dress…every women should own a black suit.

I love this pin-up suit look and the color is a perfect match! This summer you will see a lot of yellow in different shades/ombre effect.

This last swimsuit I just bought from Nordstrom and I love it! I have always wanted to own a nude suit because I can accent it with gold sandals and a gold hat. Or if you don’t like gold you can choose a bright and vivid color, like turquoise or fuchsia.

Watch Trade-In Event At Dillards!

I am so excited to announce that I will be teaming up with Dillards locally here in Arizona; letting you in on the scoop and great deals in their Arizona locations!

I am super excited to talk about an event going on in their watch department today through Sunday (April 5th- April 7th). It’s a “Watch Trade-In Event,” all you have to do is bring in any clean, used watch and receive a discount on any regular priced watch.

-Save $15 on a watch value at $50-$75
-Save $25 on a watch valued at $76-$125
-Save $40 on a watch valued at $126-$199
-Save $50 on a watch valued at $200 or more

The unique part about this event is that all of the used watches brought in will be donated to the local charity; Florence Crittenton. Their mission is supported by their vision of being the national leader in changing the future for girls. They do this by: Achieving excellence in all they do, growing to serve all girls in need and being the foremost expert in gender-specific services for girls.

Florence Crittenton of Arizona is a non-profit 501C(3) organization that has served Arizona’s girls and their families for well more than a century. Today we offer a comprehensive continuum of care designed to help at-risk girls from 10 to 21 overcome issues of abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy, teen parenting, and behavioral and/or mental health problems.
