I love spring time for various reasons: 1. I love the weather 2. I love the clothes 3. I love being outside every chance I get and 4. my birthday! This year I kept it pretty low key and went to dinner with my friends. Below is my “low key,” fun birthday outfit and you won’t believe where I got my romper????

Romper|American Eagle
Necklace|Kendra Scott

Every year I like to do a giveaway on my birthday, so stay tuned for my fun giveaway with the amazing and talented Morgan McLane Photography.

Style On Ladies and Gents!

This year I was paired up with Clothes Minded Boutique in Phoenix. We both worked together last year for MIM Rocks Fashion, so I was excited to be teamed up with Kim Kendall again. The pieces in her store are versatile for any look you are going for…dressy, casual or just the in-between. This spring is all about neutral and casual tones; so I decided to focus on simplicity meets effortless beauty and that is what shined on the runway this year at Phoenix Fashion Week’s Spring into Fashion show in downtown Phoenix. Below are a couple of interviews from the show by Phoenix Fashion Week and Valley Hype.

This was my first time getting a blow out at Park Avenue Blow Dry and Nail Bar and I loved the result! My hair actually stayed in place till the next day! 🙂 I felt like a movie star getting my curls pinned so of course I HAD to take a picture of it<3

All of the jewelry featured in my show were from Kendra Scott at  Scottsdale Quarter. I love her pieces because they can transition from day to night or a casual evening to a night out on the town. I own close to 10 pieces and I find new ways to pair them together everyday and you will see that from the looks on the runway.

I also teamed up with Block and Battaglia, the owner Christine is a full time real estate agent who when she’s not selling homes or running Block & Battaglia, spends her time focusing on her 2 great loves… her boyfriend and their son. Each Block & Battaglia bag is handmade by Christine, and all bags are one of a kind pieces. I have a clutch with Camelback Mountain on the front and I LOVE it (one because I am a native here in Arizona and two because it is just amazing!)

Special thanks to James Almanza for all of the amazing portraits of the models!

This year I was welcomed back as a Top Stylist in Arizona for the Spring into Fashion Show held in downtown Phoenix by Phoenix Fashion Week. I am very excited to be a part of this event on March 28th at 7pm.

I have been preparing for this show the past couple of weeks and shot my video last weekend at one of my clients that turned into one of my best friends house (the view was amazing). This year my vision is simplicity meets effortless beauty, it’s all about being comfortable and fashionable this year without having to spend a fortune.

This year I will be working with Clothes Minded Boutique in Phoenix (I collaborated with her last year at MIM Rocks Fashion).

I am also collaborating with Block and Battaglia. She has amazing handmade clutches that she makes locally here in Arizona.

Kendra-Scott2 Kendra Scott is another boutique I am pairing with for a pop of color in the show.

Hope to see you at the show March 28th!

Christian Dior. A name that is thought of as legend in fashion. So it was no shock when I saw their new campaign featuring the stunning and funny actress Jennifer Lawrence as “Miss Dior.”

BRAVO to the creative and production team that put this shoot together because they hit all the right points in my eyes. From the simplicity of the makeup to the volume of her hair. It was the perfect touches that made this campaign memorable for Spring 2014. From the plain backdrop to the black and white photos, everything was in perfect alignment for this “spring loving,” shoot!

This video makes me love Jennifer Lawrence even more! Kudos Dior!

To start off this holiday season my girlfriends and I went to the Nutcracker at the Phoenix Symphony. As I got to my seat I loved seeing all of the women in the audience dressed to the nine in their elegant winter wear. I kept it simple with a French Connection wrap dress (2 years old) and knee high black boots. I wanted to add some of my favorite scenes from the ballet….surprisingly the rats were probably my favorite (yes I know I am weird but they were hilarious).

My next event was at my client’s holiday party at the beautiful JW Marriott Desert Ridge . This was a work party so I wanted to keep it professional and not too flashy 🙂 This dress was given to me by one of my girlfriends; she got it from Dillards. I paired this dress with black tights, Gianni Bini boots and a statement piece necklace from White House Black Market (similar). My beautiful mom was my date for the night and she looked stunning in red <3

This was our second year attending the Go Daddy Holiday party and again it was a HUGE success! Not only did we get to eat amazing food but we got to see Kei$ha and Snoop Dog live! The party was held at Chase Field so that means that I had to dress extra warm. I wore a gold tight fitting dress (borrowed from my girlfriend) with a tailored black blazer from Marciano, blackout tights and black satin stilettos from Steve Madden (3 years old). Mat (my husband) looked handsome in his black and white suit and tie (minus the jacket) for a more casual look. Pablo (our dog) also got a little cameo in the picture above 🙂

It’s that time of year again……BLACK FRIDAY! For those of you that partake in this fun and busy shopping day I wanted to share a few pointers that have helped me get through this crazy day!

1. Sleep!
Make sure you get enough sleep the night prior because your day is going to be full of walking and shopping

2. Be Comfy!
Wear your most comfortable shopping outfit and make sure to wear your tennis or ballet flats because by the end of your shopping day your feet with thank you

3. Know Where Your Going!
It is very important to plan accordingly; make sure to know where you want to shop, so you can plan a “play by play” on what stores have the best deals and where you need to park to get there (if you go to the mall)

4. Have A List!
It is always good to make a list of items you need to get for everyone on your holiday list and make sure to always ask the stores for gift boxes and tissue (because most of them give it to you for free)

5. Always Ask For A Gift Receipt!
It is very important to always ask for a gift receipt (even though you are probably the best gift giver ever; your friend or loved one might want to exchange their present for a different size or color and that will make it easier for them to do so)

6. Go With Someone!
I always recommend to shop with a friend or loved one on Black Friday because you always need a voice of reason to tell you “yes” or tell you “no,” it is also nice to have someone stand in line with you when you are waiting to purchase your presents

7. Site Deals!
If you don’t feel like fighting the crowd this Friday then make sure to take full advantage of the Black Friday Site Deals! Click here for various site deals (anywhere from to Macy’s, it’s all here at your fingertips)

8. Have Fun!
Last but not least make sure to have fun this Friday and make the best of it. I hope these tips and tricks help you this holiday season and remember when in doubt on gift giving this holiday…purchase a personal stylist gift card and I will take them shopping for a new and improved wardrobe! 🙂
