It’s officially fall in Arizona (meaning that it hit 75 degrees) so I pulled out all of my sweaters, pants and fall colors and went to Kendra Scott to find fall statement jewels that can transition from work to play. I’m excited to be teaming up with the Kendra Scott boutique at the Scottsdale Quarter on various events and parties at their location this next year!
Kendra Scott started her business in 2002 with just $500 to launch a mini-jewelry collection. Today, Kendra Scott Jewelry is a global, multimillion-dollar brand sold at renowned retailers like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and 1,000+ specialty boutiques worldwide. I love what Scott stands for: Family, Fashion and Philanthropy. She says that the most important thing in her life is her family and nothing is greater! Her pieces are truly timeless and can transition from day to evening. As a personal stylist I am always trying to look for pieces that can flow throughout one’s day because not everyone has time to bring accessories along with a change of clothes for happy hour after work or dinner. I decided to go with the Harlow necklace because this piece is a statement within itself and is really the only piece of jewelry I need to look complete!

Pinterest….you either love it or not! I go through phases where I am on it every day and pinning like crazy and then don’t log on for a month. This past weekend was one of those days where I was on a pinning frenzy! I was exploring quotes and had to share some of my favorites that make me smile.
Have a fabulous week and style on ladies and gents!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here!
28 million women have mammograms annually. Fewer than ten percent of those mammogram screenings show some abnormality and need more tests. Through those specialized breast health tests is the vast majority (about 94 percent) are found to be harmless. Mammograms do not prevent breast cancer, but many regard them as a life-saving test because of the potential for breast cancer detection in its early, most treatable stages. When breast cancer is detected early, there is a 98 percent chance of survival. So make sure to “Get A Mammo.” I also walked the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Tempe Town Lake with my mom this am and had so much fun. Below are some pictures that highlighted this special event that I have done for the past 7 years.
Below is a segment that one of my clients did with Channel 3’s Your Life A to Z. ( I also made a small cameo as an extra lol…can you spot me?).

There are a million reasons why I LOVE my job and this commercial shoot was one of them! In the past I have styled adults, kids, news personalities, models and now I can add zombies to my list. In early September I worked with an amazing production team (Andy Coloccia and Jason Rosinski) and January Social Media on a commercial shoot for Arizona Vein and Vascular Center. The day of the shoot was perfect zombie weather (rainy and cloudy) which made it easy for the Zombies to get into character. I have never done anything like this before and this is something that I will never forget. Special thanks to my amazing makeup artist Janae Shields for the scary zombie makeup and to the United Zombies of America (Arizona Chapter) for bringing their “A” game at the shoot. Below are some pictures throughout the day and at the end of this blog is the commercial that will be running on 3TV for the month of October! Enjoy and Happy Halloween 🙂

Style On Ladies and Gents!
Ro:)
Day 3 of Phoenix Fashion Week was in full swing with cocktails and shopping bags in hand. I had a blast mingling with other local fashion bloggers and stylists with one of my great friends by my side (that actually talked me into starting my own fashion blog in the first place…love you Carly). Below are some fun pics from the night and a mini recap of the show! <3
Gents started the night off with a very different look that was clean and sleek. The minimal makeup on the women models went well with the subtle looks. I loved the women’s leather cap, hair slicked back in a ponytail. I could see myself wearing that cap with a deep color floral dress, cropped jean jacket and some motorcycle boots….perfect for fall! <3
One of my favorite designers Jhaus was up next with denim looks for all occassions! One of my favorites from her new collection was her denim pencil skirt. A pencil skirt is a must have in every women’s closet because you can pair just about anything with them. I cannot wait to get my hands on that skirt! Tutorial out soon on various ways to wear pencil skirts!
Next up was Paulie Gibson with his eccentric collection hitting the stage. Bright and bold prints come to mind when I think of his pieces. These are looks that I wouldn’t typically see the average male wearing on any given day but these models worked it.
DPC By Dora Yim rocked it with so much attention to detail that you could see immediately when her pieces walked on the stage. The craftsmanship of each piece of clothing was completely on point. The color combinations and jewelry (that she made herself) worked perfect together and the music choice tied her entire show together.
I love day to night transitional pieces; especially with my busy schedule. I like to buy clothes that I can wear for work and then dress up for night with a simple change of accessories (shoes, clutch and jewels) Bri Seeley knew exactly what she was doing when she designed her newest collection. Each piece can be worn in various ways and I love it….and she also used some of my favorite colors throughout her pallet (teal and nude).
Herbert Victoria was next up and completely killed it with his art inspired designs that tie into culture, adventures, and personal prosperity. I loved all of his details from the neckline, to the synched in waist with some of his dresses and the jewelry complimented and finished off all of his looks!
Whimsical pieces in pastels officially remind me of spring; Stephanie Gentry’s line got me excited for tullips and lilys this spring. Her looks are not for the every day women; I could see her looks being worn for fun special occassions.
Proverbs By Efua had a distinct style of simplicity with a bit of edge and sharp stiching in all the right places. I loved the color combinations she chose throughout her collection, simple yet classic. What’s different about this designer is that her luxury women’s clothing is for a cause; to end human trafficking. Click here to find more information.
Hope you enjoyed this mini recap of Phoenix Fashion Week Night 3!
